Welcome to md2pdf, operated by Flowgence ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our service at md2pdf.io (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
md2pdf is a web-based application that converts Markdown documents to PDF format with real-time preview and customizable page settings. The Service includes:
3.1 Account Creation: To access certain features, you may need to create an account using Google OAuth authentication or other provided methods.
3.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
3.3 Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.
4.1 Free Plan: The Free plan provides limited access with restrictions on document storage (3 documents), file size (5MB), and daily conversions (10 per day).
4.2 Pro Plans: Pro subscribers (Monthly: ₩9,900/month or Annual: ₩99,000/year) receive unlimited cloud storage, 50MB file size limit, unlimited conversions, watermark removal, premium templates, and priority support.
4.3 Pro + AI Plans: Pro + AI subscribers (Monthly: ₩14,900/month or Annual: ₩149,000/year) receive all Pro features plus AI-powered writing assistance with 500 AI operations per month. Unused AI operations do not roll over to the next billing period.
4.4 Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payment processing is handled by TossPayments. All fees are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy.
4.5 Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription rate.
4.6 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
You agree not to use the Service to:
5A.1 Availability: AI-powered writing assistance features are available exclusively to Pro AI and Team plan subscribers. Free and standard Pro plan users do not have access to AI features.
5A.2 Third-Party AI Service: AI features are powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use AI features, your text and uploaded files are sent to Anthropic's servers for processing. Anthropic's use of this data is subject to their Privacy Policy.
5A.3 Usage Limits: Pro + AI plans include 500 AI operations per month. Free users receive 3 AI trials (lifetime). Unused AI operations do not roll over to the next billing period.
5A.4 AI-Generated Content: Content generated by AI features is provided "as-is" without warranties. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying AI-generated content before use. We are not liable for any errors, inaccuracies, or consequences resulting from AI-generated content.
5A.5 Data Processing: Files uploaded for AI processing are temporarily stored for the duration of processing and are not used to train AI models. Anthropic does not retain your data for model training purposes.
6.1 Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the Markdown documents and PDFs you create using the Service ("User Content").
6.2 License to Company: By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Service.
6.3 Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and must ensure you have the necessary rights to upload and convert any content.
6.4 Company's Intellectual Property: The Service, including its design, code, logos, and features, is owned by Flowgence and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7.1 Cloud Storage: Pro subscribers receive cloud storage through Supabase. We implement reasonable security measures but do not guarantee absolute security.
7.2 Backup Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining local backups of important documents. We are not liable for data loss.
7.3 Data Retention: Free plan documents are stored locally in your browser. Cloud documents (Pro) are retained as long as your subscription is active. Upon cancellation, cloud documents may be deleted after 30 days.
8.1 Uptime: We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
8.2 Modifications: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with or without notice.
8.3 Updates to Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLOWGENCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ₩100,000, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Flowgence, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of another party.
12.1 By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at contact@flowgence.ai or through the account settings.
12.2 By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
12.3 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your User Content after a reasonable grace period.
13.1 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13.2 Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Daejeon, South Korea.
13.3 Dispute Resolution: Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at contact@flowgence.ai.
14.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Flowgence regarding the Service.
14.2 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
14.3 Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
14.4 Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
